Girls Basketball: Lady Red Hawks Roll Past Montgomery Central 60–14; Will Play in District Championship Monday Night

Charlotte, TN – The Creek Wood Lady Red Hawks left little doubt Friday night. Creek Wood dominated Montgomery Central from start to finish, cruising to a 60–14 victory in the district tournament. From the opening tip, the Lady Red Hawks applied relentless defensive pressure and converted it into easy offense, building a big lead early.

Balanced scoring fueled the win. Caroline Baker led the way with 12 points, followed closely by Allie Estes with 11 and Ava Lamastus with 9. Lacey Batey added 6, while Hollee Wilson and Kylie Melton contributed 5 points each. Abby Baker and Grace Merryman had 4 points apiece, while Kloe Roberts and Lillie Mangrum each had 2 points in the contest. 

The dominant performance sends the Lady Red Hawks into the District 11 AAA Championship game Monday night at 7:30pm against Battle Creek High School. The game will be held at Creek Wood, admission is $8 and tickets can be purchased at the game in cash or on the GoFan app.
